Medindie is a suburb of Adelaide, South Australia
and is about 3 kms north of SA's capital city of
Adelaide. In the 2011 Australian census the
population of Medindie was 1,127 when there were
602 Females and 525 Males living there. The

Medindie (formerly known as Medindee) is an
inner northern suburb of Adelaide the capital of
South Australia. It is located adjacent to the
Adelaide Park Lands, just north of North Adelaide,
and is bounded by Robe Terrace to the South,
Northcote Terrace to the East, Nottage Terrace to
the North and Main North Road to the Northwest.

The upper middle class suburb of Medindie is
mainly residential and contains many fine homes.
